The Ryder Cup is a team format competition between the United States and Europe. The tournament is held every four years in Europe – don’t miss this bucket-list event (European Location - TBD).
MATCH PLAY AT ITS FINEST
The Ryder Cup is a match play format between players selected from both the European and United States Teams. Each team consists of 12 qualifying players, who are selected by respective team captains. The tournament runs Friday to Sunday with a match play style format.
The Ryder Cup schedule format for the three days is the following:
- Friday – Four foursome matches (alternate shot) and four fourball matches (each player plays own ball)
- Saturday – Four foursome matches (alternate shot) and four fourball matches (each player plays own ball)
- Sunday – Twelve single matches
