The US Open is the fourth and final of the major tennis championships each year.  This two week tournament is held the week prior and after the Labor Day weekend so it is typically the last few days of August and the first week of September.  There are five champions that are crowned during the US Open including men’s and women’s single champions, men’s and women’s double champions, and mixed doubles.

The US Open has a state-of-the-art facility with the Arthur Ashe Stadium and a variety of smaller courts on the grounds that all have great sightlines.  All of these courts are lighted to allow for both afternoon and prime time viewing of the event.  Serve-and-volley players tend to do well on the fast DecoTurf surface which allows for different players to excel at this great event.
