The Presidents Cup is generating more hype than the Ryder Cup these days. The event is played in the US only 1 out of every 4 years. The Presidents Cup is a series of golf matches between team USA and the rest of the world outside of European players. The US will compete against some of the top players in the world such as Jason Day and Adam Scott, making this one of the toughest tickets in golf. The Presidents Cup has been held biennially since 1994. Unlike many other events, the players do not receive prize money based on performance. Instead, the PGA TOUR pledges to contribute to charities, which are nominated by the players, captains and captains’ assistants from both teams.

Carving its own golf niche, the Presidents Cup is quickly becoming more than simply a place for non-European players to enjoy a team format event. The Presidents Cup has emerged as an excellent international golf event that will be the talk of the nation when the competition is played at Liberty National Golf Course overlooking the New York City skyline in 2017.

Liberty National will be just the fourth golf course in the United States to host the prestigious team match-play competition. One of the worlds most picturesque golf courses, Liberty National is located along the Hudson River in Jersey City, NJ, with striking views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and Manhattan skyline. The course at Liberty National reflects the detailed expertise of 1992 U.S. Open Champion Tom Kite and renowned golf course architect Bob Cupp, who collaborated on the design. Kite & Cupp’s parkland links style layout of Liberty National is dramatic and yet traditional, taking into account the site’s cultural heritage, aesthetic principles, and elements of light and shadow. Golfers enjoy magnificent views of the Statue of Liberty, the New York Harbor, Manhattan Skyline, and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.

The 2019 Presidents Cup will be played in the Australian state of Victoria. The host venues in Melbourne and exact dates will be determined later.

Princeton Group is excited to offer Presidents Cup tickets, hospitality options, and hotel accommodations for this exciting event and it is a great way to entertain both domestic and international clients in a controlled environment.
