At 9:30 this morning the Princeton Group Team landed back in the Midwest after another successful week in Augusta. And what a week it was!  With all the great play, holes in ones, and fantastic finish, it would be impossible for any golf fan not to enjoy this past week in Augusta.

After 76 years of the tournament being in Augusta, Ga, the locals have become expert hosts.  Mother Nature was a great hostess as well – on Thursday there were some threatening skies but they parted around the Augusta area to ensure golf’s greatest event could continue undeterred. This year sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted the thousands of visitors to the tournament.

Aside from the beautiful weather, welcoming locals, and unparalleled upkeep of the course, the golf this year was pretty amazing too!  In fact, Sunday boasted 2 hole-in-ones on 16, a triple bogey by Phil Mikelson to drop out of the lead, and a double eagle by Louis Oosthuizen to take over the lead on hole number 2. The beautiful Easter Sunday championship round ended with a 2-hole playoff between South African Louis Oosthuizen and American Bubba Watson. Ultimately, 33 year-old, Bubba Watson walked away with his, first champion’s jacket, and his first ever Majors win. No doubt, Sunday’s play was one of the most exciting days in recent golf major history.

It is hard not to be a fan of Bubba, especially after this “Golf Boy’s” video was released. Congrats!
