Please see the list below for some of our favorites of the best restaurants in Augusta, GA.

Bistro 491

Known for one of the best wine lists in the Augusta area, Bistro 491 is a great choice if you are looking for an upscale dinner after a long day on the golf course. The menu of steaks, fresh seafood, and handmade deserts is delicious year round, but Chef Todd Schafer is eager to welcome out-of-town guests. With seating for less than 100 people, we definitely recommend calling ahead for reservations as soon as possible. (706) 738-6491

Must try dish: Cedar Planked Salmon

If you are looking for a great steak after a rigorous day of spectating, Calverts is definitely your best bet in Augusta. Open for over 30 years, it has been voted “Augusta’s Best Restaurant” numerous years. A cozy dining area, reminiscent of Grandma’s, southern hospitality, and great food make this an excellent choice for dinner when visiting Augusta. Recommendations are suggested well in advance. French Market Grille & French Market Grille West

With two locations, this seafood grill is one of our attendee’s favorites for dinner in Augusta. Also boasting the title in recent years as “Augusta’s Best Restaurant,” French Market Grill serves up an authentic Cajun Louisiana-style menu. Reservations are not accepted at either location, but a large full bar can help curb the wait! (706) 737-4865 (706) 855-5111

Sheehan’s Irish Pub

Sheehan’s offers guests a great pub atmosphere to hang out with friends, a cold beer, and hearty food. The menu is a mix of Irish and southern inspired dishes, but don’t let the “Pub” in the title fool you, there is not a burger to be found on this unique menu. Reservations are suggested for dinner during the tournament week, however there is a full bar area if you are just looking to stop in for a drink. (706) 364-1234
